Current Events:

Monday, October 2nd is the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels.

 

Wednesday, October 4th, is the Memorial of

St. Francis of Assisi.

The priests of the parish will “Bless the Animals” on Sunday, October 8th in honor of this beloved saint.

On Saturday, October 7th, we celebrate the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary.

During the month of October, we encourage our parishioners to pray the Rosary daily at home, in the church, or elsewhere.

“Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.”

 

 

 

The parish is sponsoring two more Flea Markets –

one on Saturday, October 7th and one on Saturday October 14th,

from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Good bargains can be found – in our parish parking lot. Call our office for table rentals – 718-592-7569.

On Wednesday, October 18th, we celebrate the feast of St. Luke, evangelist.


On Sunday, October 22nd, the parish will conduct a Blood Donation Drive, with the help of the New York Blood Center.

Please see the next item for time of the drive eligibility to donate life-saving blood.

 

 

 

Bishop Octavio Cisneros, Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn, will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation to our young parishioners on Saturday, October 21st at two ceremonies – 10:00 a.m. and

2:00 p.m. Please pray for our Candidates and their Sponsors.


 

Sunday, October 22nd is World Mission Sunday. We are all missionaries, sent into the world to witness to the Gospel.

Please be generous on this day with your financial assistance.

 

 

All through the month of October, we are collecting non-perishable food to stock our Food Pantry, for distribution to the needy of our area on Wednesday, October 25th, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
