Our parish continues to celebrate the Easter Season, which lasts until the feast of Pentecost on May 20th.

 

 

 

Thank you for helping us to decorate our church with beautiful Easter flowers.

 

 


Our parish prays the Rosary in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary

every evening at 7:00 pm during the month of May. We gather at the outdoor shrine to Our Lady. Please join us.

 

We celebrate First Holy Communion this month for 210 children of our parish on the following days:

Wednesday, May 2nd at 7:00 pm (special needs)

Saturday, May 5th at 11:00 am

Saturday, May 12th at 11:00 am

Saturday, May 19th at 11:00 am

Saturday, June 2nd at 11:00 am

Please pray for our young parishioners who continue their initiation into the faith.

 

We salute all our parishioners from Mexico.

 

The feast of the Ascension of the Lord: Thursday, May 10th.

This feast is a holyday of obligation.

Masses for the Ascension are:

7:30 p.m. (Wednesday) / 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. (Thursday).

 

Sunday, May 13th is Mother’s Day. We celebrate all our mothers with a dinner / dance on Saturday, May 12th

from 7:00 pm to midnight. Tickets are available at the parish office (rectory)

 

The great feast of Pentecost celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and the birth of the Church. It also marks the last day of the Easter season. We celebrate it on Sunday, May 20th.

The liturgical season called “Ordinary Time” begins

the day after Pentecost.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday, May 27th is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity.

“The doctrine of the Trinity does not clarify a truth.

Monday, May 28th is Memorial Day. It is fitting to coming to Mass

and pray for the preservation of Peace and Justice. Mass is at 9:00 am.

The month concludes with this feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

It has been celebrated since the eighth century.
