Advent / Christmas

The holy season of Advent begins at sundown on Saturday, December 2nd.

The Advent wreath has four candles for the four Sundays in Advent. The wreath will be blessed and the first candle lit at the 5:30 pm Mass on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Please join us for Mass.

All through the month of December, we are collecting non-perishable food to stock our Food Pantry,

for distribution on Wednesday, December 20, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Please join us in this corporal work of mercy.

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of our Blessed Mother, Mary, is Friday, December 8th.

We hope you can participate in one of our parish Masses on this holyday of obligation. In addition

to being the patronal feast of our country, it is also the patronal feast of the Diocese of Brooklyn.

We celebrate Mass at 7:30 pm on Thursday,

Dec. 7th and on Friday at 9:00 am and 7:30 pm.

 

Tuesday, December 12th , is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patron saint of all the

Americas – North, South and Central America.

The Novena begins on Monday, Dec. 4th.

Winter begins on Thursday, December 21st.


The children of our parish, under the direction of Emanuel Roque, will present a concert of Christmas music on Friday, Dec. 22nd, at 7:00 pm in the parish auditorium.


Christmas begins with the vigil Mass on December 24th. For your convenience,

Sunday (Christmas Eve)

Monday: 7:00 am, 11:30 am Mass in Spanish

8:30 am Mass in Italian; 10 am Mass in English
